That's true. Work computers are a completely different matter. My display
here is almost 1-meter wide, but it's not necessarily what I need for
typing memos on a train or keep track of a schedule while I hold an
umbrella in one hand.
I envisage a time when people will carry tiny PDA's (as microprocessors get
smaller and more powerful) and a bag of foldable peripherals like flat
screens, thin keyboard, etc. The entire thing can weigh less than a
kilogram and serve only as an extension, if/when necessary, to the PDA. The
HP Tablet is a small step away, but it's just too large to carry around.
