No user, no Wikipedia; No Wikipedia, useless spam in Google so user suffers.

Personally I've no problem with people putting sites in wikipedia
to get IBLs or exposure as long as it's relevant to the subject.
Relevancy is subjective, that's where the problem lies.

Subjectivity is only a problem if you think everyone should think the same way you do, or that there is some external 'truth' which all thought should adhere to. Either way, if it's deemed irrelevant by someone, it'll get removed!
