The hackers would soon demise into a world of drug abuse and the search for
the meaning of life. Their CV's would degrade so low as to include the job
title "Hacker".
Eventually, when the hackers get fired, remaining monetary resources will be
spent on promoting Windows, whose absence in our world would mean loss of
investors for AV companies. Oh, wait... Microsoft are now the ones to
defend Windows from the mistakes of the engineers.
Wow! Astounding industry will live in!
