There was a problem on 8.2 after a you when submount did not work.
A later you sorted the problem out. If your system is not updated to the
final standard then look for the discontinued directory on a suse mirror
and update hotplug from there.
If it works normally then you should have a directory with a funny name in
'My Computer' after plugging in the camera.
