"spread like fire" has a negative connotation. *smile* Have you lost links?
The smile suggests you have not. Either way, I still get reported the same
values. I haven't re-checked the datacentres though. 

Worth adding is the fact that the PageRank of my gateway page has changed.
It was N/A for about a month and other sources reported an odd value only
for that page.
