*LOL* Fine point.
Well, mind you, Microsoft pays to have its O/S promoted. There are 900
million US dollars invested in Vista advertisements. C|Net just cannot stop
shoving those Vista ads ('articles') in the RSS feeds, the side bars, and
their news index. And that's just /one/ example...
Worry not, however, because delivery of information is changing. Many
teenagers are ditching TV and opting for the Net instead. But the arm of
Redmond can still penetrate young minds in sites like MySpace. It just
cannot help groping those toddlers and getting them exposed to this
conception that there is only one way to computing (e.g. Office classes at
schools and coupons redeemable with MS software, as the result of antitrust
settlements).
I still fail to grasp why Apple needs to refer to Windows in an obscure way
by saying "PC" (Personal Computer). All that copyrights/trademark BS only
helps Microsoft be perceived as the foster family of "personal computing"
while everything else is classed as "an alternative". Okay, I'll stop
rambling/ranting... *sigh*
