A lot of rigour seems to be headed towards servers and mobile devices. While
laptop sales outperform the sales of desktops, mobile devices become
/extremely/ ubiquitous, even in developing countries. Backend servers often
bear a lot of the load. Luckily, this shift puts Linux in a position of
advantage. Microsoft was too late in realising emerging trends. IBM, on the
other hand, has always shrewdly looked ahead. As for the OLPC, I guess it's
somewhere between the mobile and the latpop. And it'll be a h00t.
