Don't worry, I know you were not talking about some guy you had been going
out with for 5 years. *wink*
Either way, Stacey, sometimes we can't comprehend the improvements until we
try them and use hindsight to reflect on what was lost; in technical
context, as well as in life. If we could foresee every feature or trait that
improves an experience, then it's time to consider a startup. Realistically,
it is often vendor that surprises us or has resources to have it implemented
or deployed. Which is why it's worth studying what the rivals have to offer.
Be it a mail client, a news reader, a bookmarking site, a Web browser, a
job, or even an apartment (to name examples that apply/ied to me). Never
push away novelty. It's not /necessarily/ a disruptive technology that
mustn't be embraced.
