I'd have to agree with George. Judging by what I've seen, RPM's are still a
mess whereas Ubuntu repositories and hierarchical UI with icons for
installation is a joy (much better than SUSE). The amount of help and the
growing number of resources (knowledgebases) that Ubuntu has gained from its
fans makes it a safe bet. FC seems to have a short support cycle for its
distros too. I think that FC2 support reached its end yesterday. I can't
recall for sure though.
The bottom like is that it's difficult to go wrong with Ubuntu.
