His employer pointed him to studies whose data was selectively collected.
They did the same thing to show that, _supposedly_, businesses prefer to
move from UNIX to Windows. They also got caught (and the researchers
embargoed) when, in a prestigious conference, Windows was argues to be most
secure... only after the conference ended was it realised that Microsoft
funded the 'study'... do a Web search... you'll find all of these tidbits...
Microsoft /hires/ people to do their dirty work and spread lies, making them
more prevalent.

As regards Firefox, wasn't Germany's largest site boasting 40%+ Firefox
market share recently? In one of my sites, Linux holds at least 44% and IE
has less than 10%.

Mcirosoft may be no better (probably even worse) than their current
administration. There's too much money in stake, for the company as well as
the country. I will remind you that the US government has begun reviewing
(for approval) scientific papers and mainstream news. They want nothing
mentioned about global warming, among other things...
