Reminds me of an older post.
Why I am afraid of Windows Vista
,----[ Quote ]
| Dawn decided that Vista wasn't worth the upgrade if she didn't even
| get the pretty bells and whistles, besides, using a computer without
| your mouse might be pretty annoying!

Scary Technology: Microsoft Vista
,----[ Quote ]
| If ever an operating system needed the software equivalent of
| garlic and wolfbane to keep away evil spirits, Microsoft Windows
| would be it. It's a magnet for hackers, and hardly a week goes by
| without Microsoft issuing a software security patch, or a patch
| for the security patch, or a patch to patch the patch. The
| result is a Frankensoftware monster.

Some Businesses May Be Slow to Take Vista Leap

The fear of having your games go to the grave (no compatibility), your
computer unprotected, the hidden DRM (wherever it's embedded) proving to
have stolen rights...
Lots for those who adopt Vista to be scared about...

Even Cisco says that Vista is scary
My motive here is probably to warn those who think of moving to Vista rather
than upgrade to GNU/Linux. It's about freedom, not just Linux. Liberty is
not in indutry's interests... they thrive on control and waste, so they work
hand-in-hand to 'punish' the customer.
