Surely the mother should now counter sue for distress caused for at least triple the damages[1] they were trying to get out of her.


[1] Even better is to sue based on percentagewise: the RIAA wanted to sue her for <whatever> percentage of her assets, she should sue for same percentage of their assets, PLUS compensation for her costs, say at triple what it was.
