Judging by the above description, you could (without any loss) obfuscate or
remove all IP addresses from the logs. The only privacy concern is then that
of the Webmaster, as well as some statistics that pertain to browser, O/S,
etc. As for that latter, there is rarely any harm. About 50,000 sites
already participate in surveys (if I recall correctly), by making such data
available.
