Well, a year or so ago Microsoft said that Service Pack III (for Windows XP)
would be available some time in 2007. They were right.  However, they failed
to realise (or predict rather) that Service Pack III would be shrink
wrapped. Maybe Microsoft could just stop all the updates to force an
upgrade. You know, throw Windows 2000 and XP users to the sharks, just as
they do with 98 and ME users within a few days... (11th?)
