I often wonder who can replace Ballmer. About 3 months ago when people yelled
out for Ballmer to be sacked (due to poor performance) Bill Gates' name was
raised, but he of course shied away. It's bad enough that a fairly young and
inexperienced (on a comparative basis) man replaced BIll Gates a couple of
months back, so what will happen if maestro of FUD retired as well (Ballmer
will not work elsewhere; think Messman). Sooner or later, his departure will
be forced, so essentially he is a dead goose walking. The sad thing is that
there is no good contender to replace him. It's a bit like the American
presidency, but I will say no more, or else it may stray off topic. But im
this controversial day-to-day operation, the economy, education, public
image and moral values decline. The Government and Microsoft, which often go
side by side (covering up for one another... yes, Microsoft has gone
political last week), share the same problems.

Best wishes,

Roy
