I have just attended a lecture which was delivered by the Vice President of
Technical Strategy and Innovation at IBM. There was not a single mentioning
of the "Win" word or "Micro" word. There were, however, dozens of mentioning
of "Linux" (not UNIX and variants), as well as the principles of Open
Source, around which future strategy seems to revolve. This couldn't have
been any clearer.
