Mine was spammed silly until a few months ago when I set up defences. On the

Sometimes it's best to conceal the URL, change page titles and deviate from
the GB software distributions...

I find CAPTCHA's quite useful if implemented properly. In an age of brute
force computing/bandwidth, rel="nofollow" will not deter spammers and
genuine contributers will get punished.
