[News] Vista Security Will be Great... for Linux

Is a secure Windows worth having?

,----[ Snippets ]
| If you were not all that IT literate and happened to walk into the room
| late, then you would have been forgiven if you thought you had arrived
| at the World Prison Warden Annual Convention and, that the scary bald man
| on stage was describing the highlights of the world's toughest maximum
| security prison. To then find out that he was talking about a new
| version Windows may have elicited a wry smile, or had you rolling around
| on the floor laughing your ass off, depending on your manners.

| I just don't believe that Vista can reverse more a history of shoddy
| security. There's no doubt that security will improve greatly with
| Vista - some of features sound quite impressive - but stop yanking our
| chains that MS Swiss Cheese is about to become MS Fort Knox. And, even
| if Vista does lock up tighter than a nun's knickers, what does that mean
| for the user experience? Just how intrusive and annoying is Vista
| security going to be?
