huh? i didn't see a guarantee to work in every watty setup on the list.

if one wishes to compile it then one must ensure all source code
dependencies are met.

xfce is packaged on most distros as it's reasonably sized. it's a very
good window manager/desktop. i think geoshell/xfce share a lot in
common.

the ap perhaps needs to find the packages for the distro or follow the
build instructions and perhaps check the locations of libraries. it is
highly unlikely that a simple build mistake has made its way into the
README.
