Folks at Google are really really smart. Even if they had started with
something else, they would have gone quite far. It is not
Linux that fetched them millions, it is their smartness. No doubt, they
were smart enough to use Linux! They were also smart enough to use it to
their advantage. Some people keep on developing software on Linux but
earn nothing...what a waste of time and talent. What I am getting at
here is that smart people will make money off of anything - if money
what they are going after!
