Yes, the author (or colleagues) keeps stressing that he was using Ubuntu
Linux, but he doesn't put it in the article's body. The emphasis is intended
to be the contribution to people rather than the "O/S battle". The comments
only seem to refer to the choice of the platform nonetheless.
