Any windows PC? Not the one sitting beside me. Linux won't run on it. And the machine I'm using now, linux has a very large number of driver issues with it's standard hardware.


For example, running USB 2.0 ports as USb 1.0 ports, not supporting 100Mbps on a 10/100Mbps lan card, not supporting the Audio mixer properly, not mapping the keyboard keys properly, etc.

Linux is in a Windows 95 state of development. Past beta, but not quite ready for release.

Maybe in another 2 years it will be at the 95 release stage.
