entirely. Read the second article again. To Linux, a low-spec'ed system is a
breeze (literally).
Really? I have a 1.1 Ghz Celleron with a half gig of memory and an
accelerated video card. hardly a low-spec'ed system,
I can see every redraw of every component of every window. And in
some intances with some programs clicking on a button takes a full
second before the button responds.
A full second on a 1.1Ghz machine to respond to a button press. How
exactly is the Linux Shit-Stick employing those billion operatios during
the click and the redraw response?
How exactly do you waste a billion CPU cycles? How does Linux manage
to do it?
