Yes they do. Note that Microsoft's share price has been stagnant for about
five years. Their prospects for growth into new markets are essentially
zero. Windows and Office between them account for 140% of Microsoft's
profits--that's right, 140%. The XBox division has been a huge drain on
those profits--it's lost about 5 billion dollars over its lifetime, and
never made a profit.
