I thought it was just a figure of speech. Or means of adding drama, not in
text, but in speech. I think that Knopper said this to a crowd, but I didn't
read this carefully (too much good Linux is flooding the Web and I just try
to catch up while missing plenty).

The growth of Linux will be explosive. It has all that it takes to make it.
Low cost (free) and network effect. The tipping point was surpassed some
time last year, IMHO. We're now sliding upwards at a pace that will increase
exponentially. Now, if only my capacity for posting to COLA could increase
exponentially to show this... ;-)
