None of it is useful though. The effects in Vista are what came out of
lots of usability studies. Anyone could write plugins to make the Vista
compositing engine do all the stuff Beryl can, but these are not things
Microsoft would want to include by default.


Micoshaft asstroturfers crying over spilt milk.

The functionality is better than vista crap and you have to pay too much
money to get hold of this limited functionality
and spend more on CPU and system overheads.
Lets face it, Beryl is a better user interface. You can tweek more
things and you get source code to do what you like.
I'm swimming in it after just one day and I can't enough of it.






Beryl isn't a user interface, it's a window manager that user XGL or AIGXL to perform compositing effects.
