Really? Was javascript an MS standard? Are we running NETBios networks
with WINS or tcp/ip with DNS?

It's a bit foolish to think that MS could close Google out of search at this
point. Being able to run Google is a requirement of a PC. An OS that
prevented one from using Google would actually /lose/ marketshare.
