Microsoft Hosts Demo of Silverlight on Linux

| Microsoft France asked the head of the Mono project at Novell to
| demonstrate Silverlight running on Linux.

They want to move Linux towards the heavily-patented Windows API. Novell just
lets Microsoft pollute the Web with .NET.

Related to this (but maybe more benign because Java is being generated).

Code .NET 2.0, Build Java, Run Linux

,----[ Quote ]
| The company has been working with Mono on Mainsoft for Java EE for the
| last four years and Mono of course is the open source version of
| Microsoft's .NET technologies sponsored by Novell.

Microsoft will use Novell to promote and spread .NET and then then throw the
company to the dogs.
