The decline is continuing.  Still, the US is still above the UK by 2
places, and above Germany by several.

Constraining software development using the patent system was one of
the most stupid things the US governmental systems have ever done,
for the US, anyway.  Clearly, for Denmark, it's been a good thing indeed.
