This is truly hilarious because the entire reason for creating Vista --
basically XP under a new name -- was to *increase* the revenue per copy
of Windows!
What they've done instead is driven the customer away from the stores
and now may end up selling it for less than before in order to try and
keep their talons hooked into the OEMS and retailers (who, at this
point, the ones with half a brain anyway, have to be looking at Linux as
a way of getting customers back into the store).
