That's one word for it.

If a GPLed copy of Vista landed in the Fedora dev tree, the first thing
that'd happen would be the Bugzilla database would instantly multiply in
size by a factor of several thousand. Then there'd be a global panic to
find testers, QA reviewers and maintainers. Then between them they'd all
decide that 99% of the code was un-salvageable crap anyway, depreciate
the whole lot of it, and go back to working on something more worthy.

They might poke around inside NTFS for a bit, just out of curiosity to
see how good an implementation NTFS-3g is, and then spend a pleasant
afternoon pissing themselves with laughter at Windows Networking, and
the ridiculous packet redundancy in SMB2.
