Well, either way, the more they know about it, the worst it gets for Vista.
IT Organizations: Cautious Vista Testing and Deployment
,----[ Quote ]
| November's survey found that 21 percent of organizations were
| evaluating or using Vista. In the newer survey the number climbed
| to 29 percent. Among those businesses not evaluating or using
| Windows Vista, the number planning to upgrade eventually declined
| (to 54 percent from 60 percent) and the number with no upgrade
| plans increased (to 19 percent from 15 percent).

Result? They delay/procrastinate forever (or move to Linux).
Some Enterprises Will Delay New PCs for Vista
,----[ Quote ]
| Enterprises already planning new PC deployments, as part of regular
| cyclical upgrades, are likely to delay them for 12 months or more
| because of Windows Vista.
|
| The finding is one of several from an In-Stat report issued on May
| 23. In-Stat wouldn't provide a copy of the report, but its author,
| senior analyst Ian Lao, spoke with Microsoft Watch this afternoon.

We are so lucky that Vista ended up being such a disaster. How many years
will Microsoft cash piles last for? They have already emptied over half of
it in just 2 years.
Software Notebook: Microsoft's cash pile isn't what it used to be

| But Microsoft has taken a series of steps to reduce its cash
| balance. Specifically, by Microsoft's count, the company has
| paid out nearly $100 billion through dividends and repurchasing

Yes. The future looks bright for Free software (and Google, among other
titans). No wonder Microsoft has become so unbelievably aggressive. It's the
next SCO and it will sink.
