Ah finally light dawns.

Wouldn't it have been easier for you to start your rant with "MULTICS is
not the 'Father of Unix'", rather than complain about the omission of a
word from a subject line?

You do realise that Roy was simply quoting the author, and even admits
that he had never even heard of MULTICS before, which is, in fact, the
reason he gave the (author's) description rather than the name.

If you disagree with the author so strongly, then by all means contact
him and complain, but don't shoot the messenger.
