Verily I say unto thee, that Roy Schestowitz spake thusly:

> Gates refused entry to Nigeria

What I'd like to know is, what the Hell is someone like Gates doing in a
hole like Nigeria? Passing out copies of Vista to crippled street
beggars? Sneaking hookers past the Sheraton's concierge?

No but he's "helping the poor". Right. He's "helping the poor" by making
sure every Nigerian runs Windows on their 400 dollar Intel laptops,
instead of Fedora on 100 dollar OLPCs. Of course he'll make sure the
Nigerians get a good "deal" with a loss-leader, just to tip Negroponte
"into the death spiral". Gates is a veritable angel of mercy, he really
is. Well in the same way that Dr. Mengele was an angel, anyway.

sure that you don't make any money, either." - Cringley.
