Verily I say unto thee, that Roy Schestowitz spake thusly:

I just read his Blog, and I am disgusted by the DTSC (toxic substances
indeed ... they're *computers* you numbskulls).

It would appear that some overzealous, officious, bureaucratic, upstart
with the IQ of a sponge; decided that having PC's lying around for more
than a year constituted some kind of toxic hazard. Ha!

Or maybe Intel decided they didn't like people reusing perfectly viable
PCs; rather than playing the forced obsolescence game, dumping hardware
into landfill sites, and spend spend spending their way to Vista-capable
utopian perfection, so they sent a few "lobbyists" with violin cases
round to the local DTSC offices.
