    Computerized voting machines are not inherently insecure. Hoewever,
if everything about the machines are disclosed, it is a lot easier to
determine whether or not things have been tampered with and to do various
forms of formal testing and verification.

    Although the machines should always be treated as untrustworthy and
engineered accordingly with human procedures to match.
