No. It does not sell because it is extremely shitty, and people are not as
dumb as MS needs them to be, and even the MS fanbois had to conclude that
the people responsible for Vista deserve to be shot on the spot

If your premise were even /somewhat/ correct, MS would have checked before
what customers want and built Vista according to those requirements.

Instead they have built the shittiest resource hog ever, with a lot of hated
DRM thrown in for good measure

They thought that they could force it down to their customers like they
could do before. And if not, they could always pull the rug from under XP.

As they had to find to their chagrin, the people did not swallow
