Hmm, Yahoo financial :) reports Yahoo's market cap at about $41Billion.
So, if, as you say, MSFT lost some $40Billion since the announcement of
MSFT offer to buy Yahoo, due to MSFT investors wanting to sell MSFT
stock to buy YHOO stock, does that mean that prior to the announcement,
Yahoo had only $1 billion market cap? 


Or is your reasoning way off base at best?
