Yeah:

,----
| Apparently MS just wants Bungie to make Halo for the rest of their
| natural days, and Bungie doesn't like how MS is constantly trying to
| "handle" everything they do; the way they market their games,
`----

Yup. MS really fecked that up didn't they?

http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/823/823255p1.html

,----
| US, September 26, 2007 - Within the first 24 hours of its U.S. release,
| Halo 3 has sniped previous game sales records, generating $170 million
| and topping the sales record set by its predecessor, Halo 2.
`----

Just think about that kind of money. More than a moderately successful
movie in its lifetime. In only 24 hours.

Yup. Real bad marketing.

Where's Jebediah and his "two people 6 month" guesses as to how gaming
software is created.

Ps I just tried tuxkart. Someone please tell me this was written as a
joke on how NOT to write a game?

(Open Arena is EXCELLENT however)
