Fake media file snares PC users

Almost 500,000 people have been caught out by a booby-trapped media file,
says security firm McAfee.

Other security companies have seen the trojan but not in such large
numbers as McAfee.
Only those using Windows are vulnerable to the malicious program.
McAfee urged users to update their security software and to be wary when
using file-sharing networks.

Quite some time ago, the BBC website would merely use the word
"computers". A lot of people pointed out that these kind of things
*only* affected *windows* machines, & that "Windows" should be used.
Now the beeb regularly points out that these kinds of problems only
affect Window machines.
How times have changed.
