Bear in mind that the author, Dana, is a Windows user who is often grumpy and
impatient towards FOSS. He works for ZDNet, which is tied to Microsoft via
Paul Allen (CNET) and "Ziff/Gates". Just watch how many Microsoft bloggers
they have there.
It's just a word of caution because here you have a Windows user writing about
Linux. Even *he* comes to realise that things are changing. He wants to buy a
Linux laptop now that Windows is a dead end and his previous laptop died.
