WYSIWYG is a bit lame anyway in the world of SGML and semantic web or LaTeX.
Students should be taught how to compose ideas in a way that embodies
knowledge (also structural) because that where the future is. Many kids are
taught to fit characters to an A4 paper sheet even though fewer people
print stuff out as time goes by.
