When judging a (your) Web site, you sometimes fail to accept that:

DESIGNING SITES IS NOT DESIGNING A POSTER

A Web site is CODE. It is nothing VISUAL The site is rendered by one of many
operating systems, each of which can have a different browser in use. Other
issues: screen resolution, available font sets, disability of visitors, etc.

A good Web site will be universally functional. It will appear good on any
platform.
