There is usually a big congregation of people at St. Albert Square around
midnight. If you go out to the clubs that night, be sure to attend it.
There are also various events around the city.
 After NYE 2003, I refuse to go there as a matter of principle. Idiots
decide to launch powerful fireworks off their hands. It's very unpleasant
when a big spark hits your head and burns some of your hair. I can tell.
