I didn't notice that one. I imagine that it does not explain about the
origin of the name, but serves as a sort of natural sequel to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phreaking#2600_Hz
Surely, however, if it were not for the magazine, the name wouldn't have
been meaningful enough to justify a community.
