When I first join a year and a half ago there was still some activity.
uk.finance was full of spam while this group was regularly moderated, but
still dominated by posts from GoldTrader (is he the UseNet-assigned
moderator?). I hope more people are willing to kick off discussions...

I can't comment on it though. I think the most this group can ever do is
speculate. I participate in other (technical) groups where there are
definite answers and actual problems that need troubleshooting. On the
contrary, this particular group has a different nature and wherein anybody
saying "buy /this/ everyone" is probably just acting upon self interests...
