Or at least they will delay upgrading, thus delay giving MS the $ they
are looking for to raise their stock and to use as a war chest in the
Xbox and Zune struggles. At least, this is what some analysts say that
I've been reading. Personally, I'd think they already have enough $ as
a war chest, but investors are worried about the revenue consequences
of the Vista delay. MS will certainly get some kind of a revenue hit
in 2007, the only question is how big.
