I have a hard time accepting benchmarks that were performed
on a /Windows/ machine. It could use an upgrade, too. Not
many Web hosts will employ such servers (with an older
version of Apache, IIS, and PHP). This seems out of date,
but the page is not timestamped in any way. Remember that
any experiment and benchmark has an element of black art.
Even if the methods and experiments are carefully described,
doubt prevails. There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.
And the author can always have bias, which depends on the
funding source or the hypothesis that will be the most mind
boggling. And thus, being controversial, novel, or
unexpected, it will be most publishable...
Best wishes,
