i dont think .net being used anyless is good or bad news for
opensource. the use of .net is just another thing to write programs
with.. the mono implementation is just one method of running/compiling.
there is also the GNU .net (dotGNU) implementation. so it's not just
Novel who back the idea.

personally it all sucks unless it's c/perl, discuss..
