The funny thing here is that Linux gets the blame. Windows boxes are used to
SPAM cyberspace and launch DDOS attacks while Linux machines always behave
themselves. And yet, somehow Linux (or OSS) is perceived as the culprit.

To use someone else's analogy, it's like blaming Microsoft Word for crime
because people use it to write random letters. It's also like blaming
MacDonald's and Pizza Hut for feeding all these script kiddies in their
basement/garage/mom's house.
